About Voice Architecture/Voice-based Sound Bath:
Expect to receive tones, drift within, release stress, relax and recharge your physiology in a shared, safe space where you'll be invited to travel into "inner-space" in restorative, meditative environment. The hour-long session involves ~40 minutes of a voice-based "sound healing" (provided by voice therapist Leslie Helpert) followed with 15 minutes of group "sounding" (toning and releasing voice). All are welcome.
Leslie's Background:
Leslie's work with sound and voice as a therapeutic instrument has its roots in ( 20+ years) as a dedicated voice methodologist, composer, recording artist and performer (performing in over 300 venues worldwide), wellness and yoga educator (Yoga Teacher Alliance, 2001).
Leslie hold a masters of music from Berklee College of Music, with a special focus on Holistic Performance and Practices through Sound.
As a voice-coach and vocal clinician, Leslie has devoted decades to developing a modality of voice work, coaching thousands of voices around the world, from TED main stage speakers to high security prisoners and Eurovision winners, therapists, wellness practitioners and those seeking recovery from acute, chronic illness.
