Vocal coach and holistic practitioner Leslie Helpert offers a new type of wellness practice based in the ageless tradition of singing, vocalizing and the power of expression!
A long time Yoga Alliance teacher with over 20 years of training worldwide, Helpert delivers a modality of voice-work called Therapeutic Vocal Performance Technique. Working with vocalists of all levels and interests, Helpert has supported main-stage TED speakers, Eurovision winners, artists, therapists, those seeking therapy, high functioning executives and high-security prisoners.

In the Embodied Voice workshop, participants will find elements of yoga, breath-work, applied neurolinguistics, vocal technique, traditional anatomy and "poetic anatomy", and a new map of navigating the body as an instrument.

Aside from coaching clients worldwide, Leslie Helpert is a yogi, musical and visual artist, writer, composer and performer. She has performed her own music in over 300 venues worldwide, recorded six records on various labels and written over 1,000 lyrical songs. Home-based in New York city, Helpert works internationally supporting clients in a distinct and individually-crafted method of exploring the body as a vocal instrument for both performance and therapeutically-oriented purposes. She has shared her work in places from the Google Headquarters in California to The Palau De La Music in Barcelona, Spain. Helpert holds a master's degree specializing in holistic practice from The Berklee College of Music.
